Step outside for an invigorating run, walk, or bicycle ride, in town and nearby open spaces. Note: No bicycles are provided, but you can bring your own.

Do not miss The Heritage Market which is a specialty grocery/deli run by our Mennonite neighbors. You will enjoy lunch and leave with items that you did not know you “needed.” Their cinnamon buns are “to die for” according to this author. Harris Hall of Antiques is a treat for all things unique!

Within easy driving distance, hike the popular 1.5 mile Roaring Run Trail, tour Virginia Mountain Vineyards and Blue Ridge Vineyards, or explore the world famous Appalachian Trail.
