Stay as long as you wish and save! Built in 1883 and renovated in 2024, this historic home was recently refurbished with all new mattresses and linens. The historic character has been maintained with Victorian details, tall ceilings and unique furniture and art.

The Manse on East Main was purchased and renovated in 2024, and is a perfect environment for two or more people to enjoy the luxury of renting an entire home.

Spacious Comfort

The Manse Guesthouse sleeps eight and includes four bedrooms: two Kings (one ADA accessible), one queen, and a double twin, all with new mattresses and linens.

Features and Amenities

Enjoy a full kitchen and stay connected with a smart TV and wifi for cozy evenings in. A modern mini-split system will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter months.

Guest Policy

Check yourself in and out anytime. You will be provided with a unique key to enter and exit The Manse at your leisure. Please no smoking on the property.

Pet-Friendly

Your pups will enjoy the small fenced-in area next to The Manse. Up to 2 dogs are allowed on the property.

In the heart of Historic Fincastle, Virginia, The Manse Guesthouse is located ½ block away from the 1772 Rooftop Bar and Restaurant and the Pie Shoppe. Venture just 25 minutes to Roanoke to explore The Taubman Museum, the VA Museum of Transportation, Center in the Square and Black Dog Salvage.

Meet your hosts

Mitchell and Bobbie Bowman are your gracious hosts and proud owners of The Manse and 25 East Main B&B (right next door), having resided at the home and in Fincastle for the last 50 years. Both Southwest Virginia natives and retired educators, they enjoy meeting the wide variety of guests that both of their properties bring.

When they aren’t hosting guests they enjoy spending time with their children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild, studying genealogy, and gardening.
